Flying a Drone Safely & Insurance
Drone safety is our priority
Flying Safely
It’s one thing to put a drone in the air. It’s another thing to do it safely. Our pilots know where, when and how high to can fly. We know how to get permission to fly in different classes of air space if required.
Insurance
Being insured for public liability is a necessity when flying a Drone. It ensures that drone pilots remain professional and credible at all times, despite the fact that the law does not currently require commercial drone operators to carry insurance.
If you hire an uninsured or amateur drone operator, you’re probably putting yourself, your company and others at risk.
We are insured up to $20m.
Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA)
CASA (Civil Aviation Service Australia) is the body that controls all aviation in Australia. The rules and regulations relating to flying Drones are complex (including insurance liability). A licenced Drone pilot can fly higher, closer and near airports with the proper CASA approval.
Our drone pilots are licenced and skilled to do this.
