Application for VIC Office Administration & Payroll

We require an an administration person to be based in South Caulfield, from August 2018 to  January 2019.

The position will suit:

  • A person who has experience working in an office environment
  • A some experience in office administration or payroll processing
  • A mature age person looking for a short term contract or a student looking for 20 - 30 hours work per week.

 You will have the following skills:

  • Using Microsoft Office 2010 – Word & Excel
  • Using MYOB – training will be given to the successful applicant.
  • Be able to learn new software programs easily, as we have our own proprietary administration and staff management software.
  • Be a fast learner.
  • Be able to work in a fast paced office.
  • Work as part of a team and be self-motivated and be able to work autonomously.
  • Be an excellent communicator.
  • You will be fluent in English and have a clear and excellent phone manner. 
We have a substantial payroll and it will be necessary to clearly communicate with our staff by phone and email. 

Completing our fortnightly payroll on-time is imperative. You will have a clear understanding of Excel to assist in managing our staff scheduling system. Although previous payroll experience will be an advantage further training will be provided to the right applicant.

General administrative tasks will also be required:

  • Banking & Reconciliation
  • Freight & Logistics management
  • General customer service by phone
  • General office administration
